One Hole Serrated Edge
These pearly white shells are beautifully finished on both sides, drilled with one hole near the edge and polished to a lustrous gloss which amplifies the natural nacre material. The smaller serrated-edge shells are perfectly flat, and are perfect for earbobs. The serrated-edge shells are new to us and are especially fun. They have the pinked or sawtoothed-edge appearance of some shells seen on antique Native American items. The smooth surface and white color of the shells make them eminently suitable for etching and then inking the etched patterns for additional embellishment.
